Previously we’re compelled to send the patients to Okhaldhunga and Phaplu for safe delivery which is around 30 Km far from here. Now it has been fruitful to villagers since the establishment of Wongchhu Sherpa Memorable Hospital.

I would like to thank Himalayan Yokpu Foundation for working restlessly to built hospital in this remote area while government is unable to pay attention toward the better health facilities & education in rural areas.

We lacked a reliable, easily accessible health institution where we could go for a checkup, whether it would be Okhaldhunga or Phaplu. Our life is now easier and more convenient in terms of access to medical care and health services.
